Bio:

Perry Dowell is the Program Manager of Climate Change and Community Engagement at GASP (Greater-Birmingham Alliance to Stop Pollution), where she advocates for environmental justice in the Birmingham area. Perry holds a B.A. in Business Management with a minor in Environmental and Sustainability Studies from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. Since 2020, she’s worked with nonprofits like the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance, Roots Down, and SWEET Alabama, tackling a wide range of environmental issues. Perry was raised in Birmingham and moved back after college to be closer to family and to advocate for sustainability in her home city.
