Developed by CEEJH INC, MDEJSCREENV3.3 is a mapping tool designed to assess cumulative impacts in the State of Maryland. The tool not only features 36 updated indicators for a total of 64 but also introduces enhancements in UI/UX for easier graphical report generation, an EJ-Profile overview for key geographical areas, calculations that integrate remote sensing techniques, and new Sub-Tool Layers.
The Sub-Tools Layers provide data that can facilitate in-depth analysis at the Legislative District level for both the Senate and House Districts and the calculated EJ Scores encompass the following calculated information: 1) TRI Emissions (measured in pounds), 2) RSEI Score, 3) Permitted Facilities, 4) Permitted Facilities under the Clean Air Act, 5) Ground Water Permitted Facilities, and 6) Surface Water Permitted Facilities.
